Description and location
The British Museum is the national museum of the United Kingdom and holds collections of objects from around the entire world. It is located in Bloomsbury, London and admission is free.
Holdings
The British Museum holds the largest single collection of stamp seals being investigated within this thesis. In all there are over 2,500 seals ranging from some of the earliest seal examples through to islamic examples. There are 187 stamp seals within Aktanak from the museum.
